This is Vogue Paris Original sewing pattern number 1843, from designer Christian Dior, circa the 1970s. The pattern is uncut and the instructions are included. The envelope is age-tanned with a few spots, some wear across the top edge and there is a store stamp on the front.
Size 14 - measurements are Bust 36", Waist 28", Hip 38", and Back Waist Length 16 1/2"
1843 Misses' Jacket, Blouse, and Skirt: Loose-fitting, lined, above-hip length jacket has shoulder pads, round neckline, pointed collar, front-buttoned closing, patch pockets and two-piece full-length sleeves with vent and button and buttonhole trim. Optional bias contrast velvet bands. Loose-fitting blouse with front gathered into forward shoulder seams has round neckline, pointed collar, front-buttoned closing, front tucks and full-length sleeves with placket opening gathered into buttoned cuffs. Purchased ribbon for bow trim. Slightly A-line lined skirt, 4 inches below mid-knee, with front and back gathered into waistband, has back zipper closing and pockets in side seams. Purchased belt.
